Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BLG Hub ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time — continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have parental or guardian consent.

3. Hub Ownership

Hub owners are responsible for managing their hubs, including member conduct, tournament administration, and compliance with local laws. BLG Hub provides the tools — hub owners make the operational decisions. We reserve the right to suspend or remove any hub that violates these Terms or brings the Platform into disrepute.

4. Tournaments

Tournaments hosted on BLG Hub must comply with the rules set by the hub owner and these Terms. Match results submitted through the Platform are considered final unless a valid dispute is raised within the designated dispute window. Manipulation of match results, collusion, or any form of cheating will result in account suspension.

5. Code of Conduct

All users must behave respectfully. The following are strictly prohibited: hate speech, harassment, threats, doxxing, impersonation, exploiting platform vulnerabilities, and any illegal activity. Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans at our discretion. Trust Scores may be affected by conduct violations.

6. Disputes

BLG Hub provides a dispute resolution system for tournament matches. Disputes must be raised within the time window specified by the hub owner. Both parties will have the opportunity to submit evidence. The hub owner or designated moderator makes the final ruling. BLG Hub is not liable for the outcome of disputes between players.

7. Limitation of Liability

BLG Hub is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, data accuracy, or specific outcomes from using the Platform. To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, BLG Hub, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, designs, logos, and software associated with BLG Hub are the property of BLG Hub or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent. User-generated content (such as hub descriptions and profile information) remains your property, but you grant BLG Hub a non-exclusive licence to display it on the Platform.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Hub owners will receive reasonable notice before hub removal except in cases of severe Terms violations.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
